Keri Haskell is an abstract artist from Edmonton. Freedom to be her authentic self is the driving force behind her art journey, and her creations.
Coming out of a professional career of over 20 years, left Keri feeling depleted. She had lost herself as she became part of the system. Reclaiming her life and remembering her true authentic self began in earnest with the “Creative Visionary Program” in 2019. Through this 12 week on-line art program, Keri’s creativity was reignited. Her soul was awakened and she started to unwind, remembering the truth of who she was.
Keri’s focus is on creating abstract art. She loves how she can take the energy from her heart space and turn it into a tangible representation through the colours, lines, shapes and textures she uses. Each abstract artwork captures a soul creation of a present moment of time.
Connecting with others through her work brings her creative process full circle. Viewing Keri’s art is meant to be an experience, where being fully present allows the viewer to find what resonates within them. Through her art, she aspires to inspire vitality and wonder with bold colours and contrast, encouraging others to live life boldly themselves and follow what lights them up.
