Inspired by the rolling countryside and the sparse woodlands of Alberta, Frances Alty-Arscott brings Alberta’s landscapes to life in expressionistic watercolours and acrylics. Frances received her BFA from the University of Alberta in 1980. Her vibrant work is in public and private collections throughout Canada and the United States. In addition to her painting, Frances lectures and teaches both adults and children in creative approaches to watercolour and acrylics.
