The Musée Héritage Museum and Art Gallery of St. Albert will both be open on November 11 from 10 am – 2 pm. When the annual ceremony ends at the St. Albert Cenotaph, head over to the museum (in St. Albert Place) to take in special Remembrance Day displays.
On this 80th Anniversary of the 1942 Dieppe Raid, learn about the tragic Canadian losses and the St. Albert soldier who was taken prisoner and later became a Member of Parliament.
Then, visit the art gallery for a free activity. Make a poppy chain to take home. Poppies will be strung together to show our combined community support on Remembrance Day.
Warm beverages also served at both locations.
(Free admission, donations welcomed)
