House Illuminates In-Person Tour with Curator
Join Emily Baker, Curator at the Art Gallery of St. Albert as we explore our fall exhibition, House Illuminates.
House Illuminates is a beacon of hope. Amy Loewan (RCA) works to promote peace and well-being. These ideals are at the core of the artist’s life and practice. Through installation, watercolour painting, cut vinyl and light, Loewan creates a physical gathering space, allowing connection and compassion to manifest and flourish.
Tour participants will be introduced to Loewan’s inspirations, her creative process, and participants will be encouraged to leave their own messages in her collaborative community project.
While no longer mandated by the Province, the Art Gallery of St. Albert humbly requests that tour participants continue to wear masks and abide by physical distancing, to help keep our staff and visitors safe.
