I Belong introduces children to the Aboriginal community. Sitting in a circle your students have the opportunity to share their names as they introduce themselves in a traditional way. Sharing museum objects, listening to oral histories and creating a take-home craft, children learn about tradition. Participating in a drumming circle helps your students think about how each one of us contributes to the communities we belong to.
