Exploring Art tours are designed for teachers and daycares in search of a multidisciplinary learning experience in a contemporary public art gallery.

Explore the current exhibit; then examine materials and processes. Students will develop their own creative capacities for learning, while accessing other kinds of knowledge and creative problem solving. A multi-faceted approach to art education inspires deeper learning.

Students will:

  • Learn about the cultural, historical, and social contexts of artworks on display
  • Explore works of art through themes that are relevant, engaging and thought provoking
  • Themes include: Spaces and Places, Materials and Process, and Art and Society.

Upon registration, we’ll tailor your visit to your selected theme and students’ ages with an interactive activity inspired by the current exhibition.

We can’t wait to meet your students!
